Production process
Tube Green and Kurana's activities are based on
CIRCULAR ECONOMY PRINCIPLES
- Kurana produces bioethanol from non-edible grains and food waste. It is blended into petrol.
- The waste from the bioethanol production process is used to produce biogas, which Tube Green purifies to the quality of natural gas and feeds into the gas trunkline pipeline.
- The waste is used to produce organic fertilisers, which farmers use instead of mineral fertilisers that deplete the soil.
